DResearch Fahrzeugelektronik GmbH merges with iris-GmbH infrared & intelligent sensors
On 31 August 2024, DResearch Fahrzeugelektronik GmbH will be fully integrated into iris-GmbH infrared & intelligent sensors.
With this step, iris is positioning itself as a provider of high-tech components for automatic passenger counting and video security in the global market for intelligent transport systems.
The merger combines two companies that have a lot in common in terms of their history and focus and at the same time complement each other perfectly.
Both companies were founded in Berlin in the 1990s and have developed their successful product solutions primarily for the public transport market.
As owner-managed SMEs, they have established themselves internationally in their respective market segments, automatic passenger counting and video security.
Their success is based on the development, manufacture and sale of their own products and a consistent focus on quality. With their combined development expertise, the new iris will be able to boost its innovative strength even more and open up new markets worldwide.
